Praying in Dubai
Dubai's Ramadan 2027 fasts, expected around 8 February to 8 March, begin at 12h 31m and end at 13h 08m. That sits only a little above the 12h 00m of 13 December, the shortest day, and far below the 15h 17m of 20 June. Anyone who remembers a Ramadan in high summer will find this one noticeably lighter.
The seasonal drift in Dubai is gradual. Fajr slides from 3:58 AM on 5 June to 5:45 AM on 13 January, and Isha is at its earliest, 6:50 PM, on 17 November, five weeks before the winter solstice.

Frequently asked questions
Which Asr time does Dubai's timetable highlight?
The Standard Asr, which starts when an object's shadow equals its height plus its noon shadow. The Hanafi view starts later, when the shadow doubles. Use the toggle above the timetable if you follow the Hanafi view.
How many mosques does OpenStreetMap list near Dubai?
OpenStreetMap lists 538 mosques within 15 km of the city centre. Volunteers maintain that data, so the count is probably an undercount. This page shows the closest with their distance.
When does Isha start latest in Dubai?
On 28 June, at 8:44 PM, a week after the summer solstice. Isha is earliest at 6:50 PM on 17 November. Both dates sit away from the solstices, because twilight timing moves slightly differently from sunrise and sunset.
How late is Fajr in a Dubai winter?
Fajr is latest at 5:45 AM on 13 January, about three weeks after the winter solstice. In June it comes at 3:58 AM at the earliest, on the 5th, so the dawn prayer shifts by close to two hours.
Why is Dubai's shortest fast nine days before the solstice?
The span from Fajr to Maghrib is shortest, 12h 00m, on 13 December, not on 22 December. Sunset has already begun to move later while Fajr keeps drifting later, so the two ends of the fast turn at different moments.
